WanderFreely is a mobile app that helps you keep track of the credit cards you hold and the rewards, signup bonuses, benefits, and points that come with them. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose.

We store two kinds of information:
We never ask for or store full card numbers, security codes (CVV), bank or card login credentials, or government identification. WanderFreely does not connect to your financial accounts.
We use it only to run the app for you: showing your cards, benefits, points, and progress toward your bonuses. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
To understand how the app is used and to improve it, we collect anonymous usage events, such as which screens are viewed and which features are used (for example, that a card was added). These events carry random identifiers only. They never include your email, name, card details, or spending amounts, and they are read only in aggregate. You can turn this off at any time in Account, under "Share anonymous usage data." When you turn it off, collection stops immediately and any events waiting to be sent are discarded.
When the app runs into an unexpected error or crash, we record technical diagnostics: the error message, where in the app it happened, and your device platform and app version. These are used only to find and fix bugs, are read only by us, and are collected even if you have turned off usage analytics, because they are needed to keep the app working reliably.
Your data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase, and is protected by per-user access rules so that you can only read and write the data in portfolios you belong to. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Data you enter can be shared with other members of a portfolio you deliberately share. Aside from our infrastructure provider (Supabase, which stores the data on our behalf), we do not share your information with third parties.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account, under "Delete account." You can also email us at wanderfree.app@gmail.com to request deletion.
WanderFreely is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated in the app.
